Co-founder
Leadership, trust & AI
Marc spent 24 years building VIM Group as CEO at the intersection of brand and corporate transformation, and now invests, advises and sits on boards. He co-founded the Scriptorium Initiative in 2025 because AI is redesigning how organizations communicate — and boards and CCOs need to lead that shift.
Eric van Hall
Co-founder
Generative AI, digital marketing & content creation
Eric brings hands-on experience in generative AI, digital marketing, and scalable content creation. He founded CopyRobin, an AI-enabled copywriting platform that gave him early, practical insight into how artificial intelligence reshapes creative work. At Scriptorium, Eric focuses on turning that disruption into usable tools, experiments, and operating models for communication teams.
The Scriptorium Initiative brings together experts from communications, strategy, technology, media, behavioral science, branding, organizational transformation, and artificial intelligence.
Our team combines deep corporate experience with academic curiosity and entrepreneurial thinking. We believe the future of communications requires more than technical understanding alone. It demands leaders who can connect technology to culture, trust, governance, creativity, and organizational change.
Our contributors include:
Together, we explore how AI can strengthen the strategic role of communications while preserving the human capabilities that matter most.
We also practice what we preach.
Scriptorium itself operates as a hybrid organization where humans and AI agents collaborate side by side. We actively work with specialized AI agents across research, analysis, content development, experimentation, strategic exploration, and operational workflows.
For us, AI is not only a topic of research. It is part of our daily operating model.
This allows us to continuously learn, test, refine, and understand both the opportunities and limitations of hybrid human-agent collaboration in real-world environments.
The Scriptorium Initiative operates as a collaborative network rather than a traditional consultancy.
We see ourselves as both a think tank and a playground.
A space where ideas can be explored, assumptions challenged, experiments launched, and new models tested safely and responsibly.
We believe the future of communications cannot be designed through theory alone. It must also be experienced, prototyped, and learned through experimentation.
Although AI is progressing at extraordinary speed, we believe we are still only at the beginning of what may become the next industrial revolution.
At this stage, no organization, institution, or expert can fully predict how these technologies will reshape business, society, leadership, creativity, and human interaction over time.
That uncertainty is precisely why experimentation matters.
Rather than pretending to have all the answers, The Scriptorium Initiative is designed as a space to explore possibilities, test assumptions, and help leaders learn in real time as the future unfolds.
That is why we actively create environments where leaders, researchers, technologists, and organizations can explore the practical implications of AI together.
We believe the challenges created by AI are too complex for any single discipline or organization to solve alone. Our model is designed to encourage experimentation, interdisciplinary thinking, and open collaboration between corporate leaders, researchers, startups, and institutions.
We combine:
Our ambition is to help shape the future operating model of communications.
